Flamingo is a body, hair and care brand known for well-designed, accessible products. Launched in 2018, it's now a leading women's shave brand in the US and part of Mammoth Brands, which also owns Harry's, Lume, Mando and Coterie. The company supports non-profit partners focused on women's wellbeing and encourages its people to experiment with AI.
The Harry's and Flamingo Creative team handles all creative output – packaging, advertising, photo and video, retail, digital and social – and is collaborative and focused on craft. This senior, hands-on role shapes the visual expression of Harry's digital presence, especially its website and email, across US and international properties. You'll report to the Design Director, sit on the Brand Creative team, and work closely with DTC, UX and Product.
What you'll be doing
- Developing digital concepts grounded in brand, UX and UI, and presenting them clearly
- Translating Harry's brand identity into experiences across DTC, Amazon, marketplaces, email and other touchpoints
- Defining the visual language and storytelling direction for the brand's digital ecosystem
- Spending most of your time designing – from early concepts through polished UI, email, merchandising and handoff
- Combining UI, motion and content into brand-led experiences with accessibility built in
- Balancing brand expression with conversion and customer-journey goals, using testing to inform decisions
- Explaining your design reasoning to stakeholders with clarity
- Managing your own priorities and quality, staying open to senior feedback, and mentoring junior designers
- Partnering with Brand Creative, UX, Product, Engineering and Brand Marketing
- Contributing to a team culture built on critique, iteration and care for craft
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in digital, product or related design (agency, in-house or e-commerce)
- A portfolio showing end-to-end digital work and strong attention to detail
- Strong skills in typography, layout, UI, interaction and visual storytelling
- The ability to tie design decisions to business goals and customer needs
- Experience building design systems, component libraries and style guides
- Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping
- Comfort working in iterative, collaborative environments
- Bonus points: motion design or deeper brand experience, and experience designing for e-commerce or DTC, especially on Shopify
What's on offer
- Base salary range of US$91,000 – US$120,000, with the final offer depending on location, skill level and experience; total rewards also include benefits and equity
- Medical, dental and vision coverage
- 401(k) match and equity in Mammoth Brands
- Flexible time off and working hours
- L&D stipend
- Sabbaticals: four weeks after five years, six weeks after 10, and eight weeks after 15
- Paid parental leave: 20 weeks for birthing parents, 16 weeks for other paths to parenthood
- Team events, happy hours and rooftop parties
- Free products from the brand family
- In-office Tuesday to Thursday at the SoHo headquarters in New York City – a 70,000 sq ft office with stocked kitchens and regular team lunches and bagels
