The role
A lead motion design role in the Creative Craft team within Huge's Creative group, working remotely from within the United States. The job joins traditional 2D motion with advanced 3D, using AI tools, for broadcast, web, branded content and immersive work, and includes responsibility for motion strategy and production efficiency. It is not open to people living or working in New Mexico or Hawaii.
What you'll do
- Work as a creative partner on digital, web, advertising and video briefs, keeping motion work in line with campaign aims
- Use AI workflows such as generative AI, neural rendering, automated rotoscoping and previsualisation to iterate fast and shorten production
- Make high-end motion graphics, 3D assets, cinematic environments and spatial experiences
- Handle look development, lighting, texturing, modelling and rendering so the brand look stays premium and consistent
- Develop storyboards and visual concepts that make use of depth, physics and spatial design
- Work with Creative Directors and multidisciplinary teams to build visual stories and finish concepts
- Keep standards of design, craft and quality control high across animation and VFX pipelines
- Present technical and visual concepts clearly to stakeholders, covering both the look and the technical approach
- Lead technical innovation in the team, following developments such as real-time rendering, spatial computing and AI-assisted workflows
About you
- At least six years of motion design experience, weighted towards advanced 3D work in agencies or production settings
- A portfolio of original concepts, motion graphics and high-fidelity 3D VFX for advertising and digital campaigns
- Proficiency in Cinema 4D (with Redshift or Octane), After Effects and Figma, with solid 3D generalist skills in modelling, lighting, texturing and rendering
- Experience using AI platforms such as NanoBanana, Midjourney, Topaz or Firefly for texture enhancement, upscaling or asset generation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly with Creative Directors and cross-functional teams
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, film or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience
- Nice to have: hands-on work with real-time engines (Unreal Engine 5 or Unity) and interactive motion tools (Lottie, Rive, Spline)
- Nice to have: advanced VFX skills in Houdini or Maya, exposure to AR/VR/XR spatial design, and audio and video editing in Premiere, Audition or DaVinci Resolve
