Brand Designer

The role

Langdock, an AI company in Berlin, is hiring a brand designer to look after the whole brand experience, from the website and slides to merchandise, the office, events and emails. The role sits in the Business team and is full-time. It suits someone who can move between Figma and briefing print suppliers, and who ships what they design. The company has an in-person office culture in Berlin.

What you'll do

• Own and develop the design system, including components, tokens and visual patterns, and make new elements reusable
• Maintain the visual quality and front end of the website directly, without a ticket queue
• Design merchandise people want to keep, including briefing suppliers, reviewing samples and making the quality calls
• Shape physical spaces such as the office, event set-ups and conference booths
• Lead special creative projects from start to finish, such as launches, campaigns and one-off collaborations (for example, a printed edition of an AI playbook)

About you

• At least 5 years' design experience, having shipped digital products, websites or flows that people used
• Strong Figma skills
• Good taste and the ability to defend design decisions
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to write your own brief when there isn't one
• Thinks of brand as a complete experience, including physical materials and spatial design
• Follows developments in AI and uses AI tools every day
• Kind and considerate of others
• Nice to have: a background that includes product and UX work
• Nice to have: comfortable with code
